Pupple!

Somehow Tucker has become passionate about the color purple. It could have something to do with the fact that Evan and I love the color, or it could have to do with the fact that purple is the only color he can pronounce. But whatever it is, he gravitates toward the color, and every color is "pupple" until we tell him otherwise. So we'll be in a store and he'll point out a pair of pink socks. "Pupple?" "No, buddy, those are pink." Pointing out a blue pair, he'll ask the same question. When we actually get to a purple pair he goes crazy. Here he is with his beloved purple sippy cup (which has helped greatly in the painful weaning process from a baby bottle!) and his favorite purple truck.

I apologize for the frightful amount of time that has gone by without blogging. There just hasn't been anything interesting to blog about, though I find that it doesn't always take earth-shattering news or events to make my friends' blogs enjoyable. Baby is due in two weeks, though by the way I'm feeling some days lately I wonder if he'll be early! At this point he can come at any time and be considered full-time. Hurray! I'm so thankful for the Lord's hand of protection on this pregnancy. I can't wait to hold that little one in my arms!

Evan is out in the kitchen trying to get our excessively clogged kitchen sink unclogged. Multiple bottles of Drano and other similar products haven't quite cut it, though it's a little better than it was earlier today. He's trying everything he can to avoid having to go down to the basement and open up the pipes. Can't imagine why he wouldn't want that exciting job.
